Support Michigan Farmers

Michigan is trusting farmers with their land.

In 2023, the Michigan legislature passed siting reform, giving farmers the freedom to do what they want with their land, cutting the red tape, and allowing them to lease their land to projects that diversify the power grid.

With siting reform implementation, farmers across Michigan have been given new opportunities, a sense of security, and the ability to keep their land in their family for generations–like they’ve always done!

These New Reforms Will:

  • Strengthen Michigan’s rural economy
  • Provide farmers with a steady stream of income
  • Create good-paying, local jobs
  • Expand and diversify the power grid across the state to increase reliability
  • Keep farms in the family for generations
  • Give communities the resources they need to pay for schools, roads, and other investments
